Meet with the teacher

Christian Tissier Shihan, was born in Paris in 1951 and began practicing aikido at the age of 11. At the age of 18 as a nidan, Tissier Sensei traveled to Japan to practice at Aikikai Hombu Dojo. He lived and trained in Japan for 7 years studying under all the major Aikikai teachers at Hombu Dojo, including Kishomaru Doshu and Yamaguchi sensei.

In 1976 Tissier Sensei returned to Paris and established the Cercle Christian Tissier. Since then he has been tirelessly teaching aikido internationally and he has a large following of students through out the world. In 1998 Tissier Sensei was awarded 7th dan by Doshu Kisshomaru Ueshiba.

2 day seminar – June 27th & 28th, '08 – 10:30 ~ 13:00 – 15:00 ~ 17:30
